27 Weeks

P's first VBS :)

Weeks: 27 Weeks 3 Days

Baby: As big as a cucumber! 15 inches long & 2.2 pounds.

Total weight gain: The Dr. appointment yesterday confirmed that I am up to 20 pounds total so far.

Maternity clothes? Still just really like dresses and skirts lol

Stretch marks? Still okay on this front.

Sleep: Not the best, but my body pillow helps.

Favorite moment of the week: It's VBS week at church! It's been so fun getting to help and hang out with the kids. We're with 8 & 9 year olds this year so it's been fun. Also, this past weekend was CRAZY busy but super fun! Sean & I stayed the night with his mom Friday night and got to spend time with them. On Saturday, I went to Hot Springs & got to spend the evening hanging out with my Auntie Nancy, my mom, Aubs, & Evan. We got to go on a private plane & the out on the boat! It was a lot of fun & then me, Aubs, & Ev had a sleepover at Nana's!

Miss anything? I don't think so.

Movement: She is my little wiggle worm. Always keeping me company & letting me know she's there.

Cravings? S.U.G.A.R. & I mean I had a really big sweet tooth prior to pregnancy so it's not like this is really any big surprise.

Anything make you queasy or sick? Nope!

Gender prediction: Girl :)

Labor signs: Nope!

Symptoms: Still rib pain & heartburn. I'm trying to be a little more careful with what I eat to keep the heartburn in check.

Belly button in or out? It's not out... but it's not in either LOL

Wedding rings on or off? On! BUT my black diamond graduation ring is off the right hand. It has been substituted with my old infinity ring Sean got me before we were engaged :)

Mood: I find myself getting sad really easily, but I've been mostly happy.

Looking forward to: Going to hang out with Sean's stepmom & family Saturday night.

Freak-out moment of the week: Idk if this is a freak out per say, but I was rather irritated. Yesterday was our monthly Dr. appointment. It had been 5 weeks since the last one because my Dr. was out of town during the normal week. So when we go to leave we needed to schedule my glucose test, whopping cough shot, and my rhogam shot, as well as our 4D ultrasound! Exciting times right? So tell me why when the first 3 things pretty much have to be done by or at 28 weeks did they wait until I'm 27 weeks to schedule it? Obviously, they're pretty much packed next week and so the time I was able to get for all 4 (apparently that don't like to split the ulrasound up from the other tests) is on a day when Sean can't come. I was/still am so so sad about this. But keep trying to tell myself that his vacation days are limited and it's better he use it for when she's here vs coming to look at her on a tv screen lol

Thankful for: Such an awesome group of friends & family. My launch party for Usborne was last week & I was blown away by all the support shown to me! I have my first official scheduled party tonight & I'm excited for it :)

26 Weeks

If I look exceptionally tired in this picture, it's because Pokemon is consuming my life.

Weeks: 26 Weeks

Baby: As big as an eggplant!
9.2 inches long & 2 pounds!!

Total weight gain: I think I'm getting very close to the 20 pound altogether mark.

Maternity clothes? I'm beginning to wonder if my pants are gonna make it. At this point I'm like it's almost over, you can do it! But then I'm also like uhh there's still 3 months left and you can't wear your athletic shorts to work. It's bad enough you wear them literally everywhere else. I just hate hate hate normal pants right now.

Stretch marks? Still okay on this front.

Sleep: This has not been a good sleep week. My rib pain is making it hard to sleep. I have taken to using a body pillow and I think it's helping a little. Funny story: Friday night was the first night I tried the body pillow. So I laid it out flat in like the middle of the bed, put Anna on the bed, & then also climb in. As I'm positioning myself, Anna climbs directly on the pillow so that she is nestled in her typical spot beside me but on top of a pillow now. She was extremely pleased and definitely thinks the pillow is for her.

Favorite moment of the week: Is it lame if I say playing Pokemon with Sean? Don't answer that, I'm aware of the answer. But whatever, my blog, my opinion. We've become a little addicted to the game but it's fun because it's something we both enjoy. Bonus it's exercise haha

Miss anything? I don't think so.

Movement: She is def a wiggle worm. If I'm resting my arms or hands on my belly they move all the time. I think people will start calling me twitchy.

Cravings? Still very much into sweets. I think Piper is just going to be a sack of sugar when she is born lol

Anything make you queasy or sick? Nope!

Gender prediction: Girl :)

Labor signs: Nope!

Symptoms: Heartburn has still been a pain but really this week is the rib pain. It's just a constant ache with flare up of sudden more intense pain.

Belly button in or out? I'm gonna call it flat lol

Wedding rings on or off? On!

Mood: It's been a good week. Hangry is about the only thing to get me down.

Looking forward to: A busy busy weekend! Should get to visit with my mom, Sean's mom, & hopefully my Godmother all at some point this weekend!

Freak-out moment of the week: Being mad at the Pokemon server lololol

Thankful for: New opportunities :) I decided this week (well later part of last week) to become an Usborne Books & More Consultant. I'm super excited about this because I love love love books & what better way to build Piper's library than sharing my love of books with all my friends?!

25 Weeks

Weeks: 25 Weeks

Baby: As big as a rutabaga! Which is a vegetable, not to be confused with an RV called a Winnebago, which is what it makes me think of.  She is NOT the size of a recreational vehicle, I promise. 9 inches, 1.7 pounds.

Total weight gain: I think I've gained another pound or two.

Maternity clothes? I just love elastic. I hate "regular" clothes.

Stretch marks? Still nothing so far. I'm surprised too cause I don't use lotion or anything. Because I'm a lazy individual.

Sleep: I slept really good last night! I always do after being away from home for a few days. I remember trying to tell Sean my dream at one point when I woke up & he was still awake and I know it made absolutely no sense to him.

Favorite moment of the week: This one is a tie. 1. we went to Branson with my dad & his wife and my sister & her fam. We didn't do a tonnnn, but it was still a lot of fun to just relax and hang out with everyone. Big highlight was going to Dixie Stampede. The kids loved it & I loved the food :) 2. Piper's room is really starting to look like a room to bring a baby home to! Makes me so so happy! Here are some more pics because if you haven't noticed, I'm not super big on waiting until the end to reveal something. The progress pics are fun too :)

You'll notice her swing hanging out in it's box still. We've had it for a week now & just haven't had the time to put it together yet. It's from her Mimi Sandy & I'm very hopeful we will get it put together this week :) Still to come in her room is all her artwork, blinds & some curtains!

Miss anything? Nothing is super popping into my mind for now.

Movement: She loves to wiggle & kick. My dad, sister, and Aubrey all got to feel her moving this weekend. Aubs reaction was the best. So sweet.

Cravings? Just gimme alllllll the sweets ever made please.

Anything make you queasy or sick? Nope!

Gender prediction: Girl :)

Labor signs: Nope!

Symptoms: Heartburn, heartburn, heartburn.

Belly button in or out? It's definitely looking flatter.

Wedding rings on or off? On, really hoping it stays this way.

Mood: I think this was a happier week.

Looking forward to: Relaxing at home this weekend! Sean most likely has to work on Saturday & I'm def planning a lazy day for myself & the animals.

Freak-out moment of the week: I can't think of any haha

Thankful for: being 25 weeks pregnant! Every week that passes put us one week closer to meeting sweet P :)
